Administrative Responsibilities of Ward Office No. 06

    General Administration – Overseeing and managing all administrative activities within the jurisdiction of Ward Office No. 06.

    Encroachment Control & Legal Actions – Monitoring and removing unauthorized obstructions and encroachments in the ward and taking

    necessary legal action.

    Construction & Repair Permits – Granting repair permits for construction and allowing temporary weather sheds for residential buildings

    during the monsoon,

    upon receiving complete applications.

    Hawker & Public Space Management – Removing hawkers from roads and footpaths to maintain public accessibility.

    Marriage Registration – Registering marriages of residents and issuing marriage certificates as per legal provisions.

    Public Space Permissions – Granting permissions for the use of grounds, municipal schools, halls/classrooms, pavilions, stages, and

    open spaces for various purposes.
